Aya Kawa has been invited to participate in Design:Made:Trade, a boutique event showcasing Australian and international design culture. The event takes place between July 21 and July 24, 2011 in Melbourne at the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton.
Aya Kawa is no longer only about ties. Sitting at
the design table I decided that on a theme of 'decorative elegance', decadent cufflinks are the way to go.
For a pre launch viewing come to Adelaide Bowerbird Bazaar www.bowerbirdbazaar.com.au this weekend.(May 6, 7 & 8 2011)
In response to queries from customers and stockists we are providing a limited number of our designs as pocket squares.
Please check out these new woven silk pocket squares from Aya kawa.
The first range of AyaKawa cufflinks will be available soon and can be viewed now on the website. The designs are based on our popular necktie designs.
If you happened to be at the Darling Harbour Wedding Expo a couple of weeks ago you would have seen Aya Kawa ties hitting the catwalk on the good looking 'Just For Him' models. As occasions go they don't get more special than a wedding so we are delighted that our ties are being selected.
There have also been some enquiries about a wedding tie with yellow in it so we have created one in our most popular Peony design (PEO 5). And to round out our Spider collection we have added a further two ties: pink and gold on red (SPI 6) and purple on blue (SPI 5). All the new ties released this year will be with an 8 - 8.5 blade.
Today we have released two new versions of two favourite designs. We have added a stunning white/silver on white version of the Peony design and a silvery grey version of the Spider.
We think both of these ties will be very popular. These new additions are just in time as we have only a few left of our all time favourite the pink and white peony and only one of the gold spider.
Other colourways will come on board soon and new designs are also in the pipeline. It is going to be a very colourful and exciting year!
We welcome you to our redesigned website.
We hope you will find the site even easier to use than previously.
We welcome any feedback.
