The silver and blue spider chrysanthemum silk tie design takes it's inspiration from the Chrysanthemum flower. The significance of the Chrysanthemum derives back to the 8th century when the Japanese emperor adopted the flower as his official seal. Since this time the Japanese celebrate the flower in their annual festival of happiness. This tie honours this symbolism.
The silver, grey and blue colours make this an ideal tie for any special occasion - the perfect wedding tie, a tie to be offered as a unique gift or the perfect choice for a day at the races. Like all ties at Aya Kawa, this tie is 100% silk (woven on a 2400 hook jacquard loom) with a pure lambs wool interlining.
